Xiaomi has finally launched its latest tablet dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, in China. The Mi Pad 4 has been launched in both Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE display variants. The main highlight of the Mi Pad 4 is Snapdragon 660 SoC, AI Face Unlock feature and the ability to use 8” display with single-hand. It will be available in Black and Gold colour options.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Wi-Fi variant comes with a price tag of 1099 Yuan (Rs 11,5000 approx.) for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option, and 1399 Yuan (Rs 14,700 approx.) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option. The 4G LTE + Wi-Fi variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage is priced at 1499 Yuan (Rs 15,700 approx.). It will be available to purchase from June 27th in China.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 specifications
Talking about the specifications, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. It sports an 8” full-HD (1920×1200 pixels) display with a pixel density of 283ppi, 16:10 aspect ratio and 1200:1 contrast ratio. The tablet is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. As mentioned above, it offers 3GB/ 4GB of RAM with 32GB/ 64GB of internal storage.
For photography, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 comes equipped with a 13MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, OV13855 sensor, HDR and LED flash support for better lowlight capturing. On the front, it has a 5MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture and AI Face Unlock feature.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 is fuelled by a 6000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS (only on LTE variant), 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and a digital compass (only on LTE variant). It measures 200.2×120.3×7.9mm and weighs 342.5 grams.
